Mini Caprese Skewers

Ingredients

  • 2 cherry tomatoes
  • 12 mini mozzarella balls bocconcini or ciliegine
  • 12 fresh basil leaves
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • ½ tsp sea salt & black pepper
  • 12 mini skewers or toothpicks

Instructions

  • On each skewer, thread one cherry tomato, a fresh basil leaf (folded in half), and a mini mozzarella ball.
  • Repeat until all skewers are assembled.
  • Arrange the skewers on a serving plate and drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic glaze.
  • Sprinkle with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper for an extra flavor boost.
  • Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
