Homemade Energy Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup peanut butter or any nut butter of choice
  • cup honey or maple syrup
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup flaxseeds or chia seeds for extra fiber & omega-3s
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix oats, nut butter, honey, chocolate chips, flaxseeds, vanilla, and salt.
  • Stir well until everything is combined.
  • Roll the mixture into small bite-sized balls (about 1 inch in diameter).
  • Place on a tray and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week or freeze for longer storag
