DIY Pizza Bagels Recipe

For the Base:

whole wheat or plain bagels
sliced in half

For the Pizza Sauce:

pizza sauce
store-bought or homemade

dried oregano

garlic powder

red pepper flakes

For the Toppings:

shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions
Step 1: Preheat & Prep the Bagels
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). If using an air fryer, set it to 370°F (188°C).
Slice bagels in half and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Lightly brush olive oil over each bagel half to help them crisp up.
Step 2: Add Sauce & Cheese
Mix pizza sauce with oregano, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes for extra flavor.
Spread 1-2 tablespoons of sauce onto each bagel half.
Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
Step 3: Add Toppings & Bake
Top with pepperoni slices, mushrooms, bell peppers, or olives—get creative!
Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes, or air fry for 7-9 minutes, until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
Remove from oven, garnish with fresh basil or extra parmesan, and enjoy!
