Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados peeled and pitted
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 1 small garlic clove minced
  • 1/4 cup red onion finely chopped
  • 1 medium tomato diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or mozzarella for cheese crisps

Instructions

  • Prepare the Guacamole: In a bowl, mash the avocados with a fork. Add lime juice, minced garlic, red onion, diced tomato, cilantro, salt, and pepper. Mix until combined but still chunky.
  • Make the Cheese Crisps: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place small mounds of shredded cheese on the sheet, flattening them slightly. Bake for 5-7 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  • Serve: Once the cheese crisps have cooled, serve them alongside the guacamole. Enjoy as a delicious and healthy snack or appetizer!
